Action OT is a Registered NDIS Provider. We can provide services to Agency, Self and Plan Managed Participants.

Fees for NDIS participants
Agency and Plan Managed Participants
- Occupational Therapy: $193.99 per hour
- Allied Health Assistance (Level 2): $86.79 per hour
Travel is charged at 50% of the applicable hourly service rate and is capped in accordance with the NDIS Travel Pricing Arrangements, based on the appointment location.
Self-Managed Participants
- Occupational Therapy: $193.99 per hour
- Allied Health Assistance (Level 2): $86.79 per hour
Travel is charged at the same hourly rate as the service being provided:
- Occupational Therapy travel: $193.99 per hour
- Allied Health Assistance travel: $86.79 per hour
A kilometre rate of $1.50 per kilometre also applies.
Private Health Insurance
A large number of private health insurers provide a rebate for occupational therapy services. Please contact your health fund directly to confirm your level of cover and eligibility for rebates.
**Please note you are unable to claim a rebate from both Medicare AND your private health insurance. A gap payment will apply for private health insurance clients.
Fees for Private Health Insurance Clients
- Occupational Therapy: $230.00 per hour
- Allied Health Assistance (Level 2): $105.00 per hour
Travel is charged at the same hourly rate as the service provided.
A kilometre rate of $1.50 per kilometre also applies.
Full payment for services is required. A receipt will be issued to enable the client to claim back from their private health insurer.
Please submit a referral form for a Quote for Services to be provided.
Medicare
Action Occupational Therapy is able to provide services covered by funding under Medicare with appropriate doctor’s referral. Please view the following link for more information:
Chronic Disease Management Program (formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care Plan) –
Please note a gap payment will apply for all Medicare clients. We do not bulk bill at Action Occupational Therapy.

Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.

Supervision
Supervision is provided by our Senior Occupational Therapists Nikki Cousins and Sophie Anderson.
Fees for Supervision Clients
- Nikki Cousins: $250.00 per hour + GST ($275.00 incl. GST)
- Sophie Anderson: $230.00 per hour + GST ($253.00 incl. GST)
